Sequoia - Bar of Body Soap

  Use daily in bath or shower. For a longer lasting bar make sure you do not leave in a puddle of water where the soap may become soggy. Or even better, alternate between 2 bars so that there is an extra day of drying time between uses.

Scent Family/Details: 

Sweetgrass - We here at Sequoia hope you've had the opportunity to smell the herbal - sweet scent of sweetgrass. It's true that due to urbanization, sweetgrass is a lot harder to find nowadays as it grows and thrives in a wild environment. We've captured this 'wildness' in each bar and now give everyone the opportunity to experience it with each shower.

Three Bears - All our Bear clan friends will love this one. Oatmeal is a mild exfoliant which is great for the skin. We've renamed this one Three Bears not only as a homage to the Bear clan people, but also as a kind of tongue in cheek reference to the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, where Oatmeal was the center of attention.

Storyteller - smells like a tea blend you would simmer on your stove top for around the time of year when families get together and sit around the fire. There was a time when that's how stories were passed down from generation to generation. The young ones would sit around listening to the elders telling their stories.

Northern Blueberry - Inspired by blueberry picking up North every Summer. This perfect blend of sweet summer juicy blueberries has just a hint of orange, and lemon. Also, you can detect middle notes of a fruity-floral blend of strawberry, pear, lilac, and violet. Bottom Line: Fruity and classic.

Harvest Moon - Our Harvest Moon soap features "Moon Water" and activated charcoal as special ingredients. The water was left out for the light of the full moon to recharge its moon energy into it. If you are a fan of the classic fall scents you will love this soap in your bath/shower. The harvest moon has also been called a fruit moon or barley moon as harvests happen near the end of the summer. It can also be called the corn moon. The Algonquin tribes in what is now the northeastern U.S. called this the Corn Moon, as this was the time for gathering their main staple crops of corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice.

Turquoise - A fresh clean scent with hints of apple, sage, and just a hint of pineapple. Our soap design features the Turquoise color with veins of gold you so often see in Native American Turquoise Jewelry. If you are a fan of Turquoise you will love have this soap in your shower. 

Seven Dancers - Our custom blend of citrus such as grapefruit, orange, lemon, balanced with raspberry, red currant, tulip, freesia, heliotrope, rose, cashmere musk, vanilla, and amber. The inspiration for our Seven Dancers Soap is the legend of the stars. The constellation Pleiades or it could be the Big Dipper is also known as the 7 Dancers. Officially launching on December 21 (Winter Solstice), the longest night of the year when 7 Dancers are visible longest. This is a complex blend (fruits and floral) with hints of citrus. 

Intertribal - Top fleeting notes of blueberry, white freesia, wild grape, with middle notes of, lily, magnolia, green vines, and base notes of cashmere, and violet. At Powwows, the Inter-Tribal is the bringing together of all people and cultures for one special dance. All dancers of all types come together, and the look and feel are a varied mix of colors and styles. We literally took the shavings of every single soap made since last June, saved them and put them all together into one batch, instead of them going to waste. The colors are mixed, and the scent is quite unique.
